PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a higher efficiency than the typical efficiency of the Rankine cycle, when converting low-temperature heat to electric power by performing a thermodynamic cycle. SOLUTION: A operation flow, containing a constituent having a low boiling point and one having a higher boiling constituent, is applied with heat from an outside heat source and forms a heated gaseous-state operation flow. The heated gaseous-state operation flow is separated by a separator S so that a rich flow of a heated gaseous-state which contains comparatively a large amount of the constituents having a low boiling point, and a lean flow which contains comparatively a small amount of the low boiling-point constituents, are formed. By expanding the rich flow of the heated gaseous-state, energy therein is converted to be useful form. Then, a rich flow after expansion and consumption is made to be merged with the lean flow eventually and form an operation flow. |
