PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate manufacturing of a small closed magnetic path inductor by winding a conductor wire around each of closed magnetic path cores split in advance, and then jointing the split surfaces of cores together to form a closed magnetic path core. SOLUTION: A circular closed magnetic path core in cross section where a ferrite is used for a magnetic body, or a square closed magnetic path core in cross section, where a magnetic alloy thin-plate is wound or laminated, is split into halves. A split core 3 which is insulating or insulation processed is wound to form a small coil 9. The split surface of the split core 3 is jointed to form a closed magnetic path core. Related to jointing of the wound split core 3, each of split surfaces are smoothed and such thermo-setting resin as an epoxy resin with heat-resistance and mechanical strength is used for tight jointing, providing a high effective permeability. If a magnetic saturation takes place due to DC superposition, the joint surfaces are jointed with a spacer of a specified thickness in between so that joint parts 6 are open magnetic paths with a specified interval, thereby avoiding a magnetic saturation.
