PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet secondary battery having a long-term reliability and a high stability, and to provide a compact and light-weight sheet battery having a high performance and high energy density. SOLUTION: In a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery composed of a positive electrode 2 formed by an electrochemical active material and having an air gap on its electrode plate, a negative electrode 4, a gel nonaqueous electrolyte and a jacket material 6, the gel nonaqueous electrolyte is disposed in the air gaps of the positive electrode 2 and the negative electrode 4 and on their surfaces, and a gel nonaqueous electrolyte 3 held by a nonwoven fabric having a thickness of not more than 50 μm and METSUKE of not less than 5 g/m2 and not more than 20 g/m2 is disposed between the positive electrode 2 and the negative electrode 4. |
