PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a band for cables which will not be lost, even if the cable band is removed from the cables, and which has a simple structure. SOLUTION: A band 1 for cables is composed of a strap 2, a head 3 with chamfered parts 4-1, 4-2 and notches 5-1, 5-2 formed at one end, and an opening 6 formed into the strap, the head 3 is wound around one cable 7 so as to wrap it and inserted into the opening 6 from the notches 5-1, 5-2, the cables 7 are collected, and the collected cables 7 are wound with the strap 2 into a bundle of cables.
