摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress degradation of performance of a synchronization processing even when a synchronization code is made into an error correction code together with a main signal. SOLUTION: The main signal S1 to be transmitted and the synchronization code S2 are time division multiplexed according to frame structure by a synchronization code multiplexing part 11, error correction is performed for the multiplexed synchronization code and the main signal by an error correction encoding part 12, modulation processings such as PSK, QAM are performed as changing modulation systems according to parts of the synchronization code and the main signal by a modulating part 13 and transmitted on the transmitter side. Then, synchronization of the synchronization code is detected by using a part to be unique after error correction at a synchronization detecting part 22 on the receiver side. In this case, erroneous detection of synchronization is reduced by selecting a signal whose part to be unique after it is made into the error correction code becomes the code with high correlation for the synchronization code S2.
