PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system using a light emitting diode as a light source and directly attachable to an existing socket for a bulb or a fluorescent tube. SOLUTION: This lighting system is provided with a light emitting part 1 using a light emitting diode LED as a light source, a base 2 attachable to a socket 3 for mounting an ordinary AC bulb and electrically connected to the light emitting diode LED, and a power supplying part 5 applying DC voltage generated when AC voltage is applied to the light emitting diode LED via the socket for a bulb 3 and the base 2. |
