The present invention relates to a platform integrity verification based terminal security device and a method thereof. The platform integrity verification based terminal security device comprises a booting unit and a security unit. The booting unit performs an operation for booting a terminal, and operates the security unit. The security unit is operated by the booting unit, measures current hash values of the booting unit, compares the current measured hash values of the booting unit with hash values of the booting unit which is stored in a memory by measuring the hash values in an integrity state of the terminal, and determines the termination of the operation to provide a security service of the terminal by determining integrity state damage of the terminal according to a comparison result. |
