PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an entire circumference observation device that image processing by a computer can be simplified and a plurality of contrast images (entire circumference images) with different wavelength bands are obtained. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a wide angle lens 11, a plurality of linear image pickup elements 13a-13c placed on an image plane of the wide angle lens 11, and band-pass filter means 12a-12c that are placed on a plurality of the linear image pickup elements 13a-13c at the side of the wide angle lens 11. A plurality of the linear image pickup elements 13a-13c can pick up an image of luminous flux from the wide angle lens 11 and is turned around the optical axis of the wide angle lens 11. The band-pass filter means 12a-12c lead the luminous flux of the image with different wavelength bands from each other to each of a plurality of the linear image pickup elements 13a-13c.
