PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely judge which photographing out of normal photographing and a trimming photographing is selected by an operation member. SOLUTION: This camera is provided with an aperture light shielding member regulating a 2nd photographing range when the trimming photographing is executed by shielding one part of a 1st photographing range being the photographing range of a normal photographing time from light, a finder visual field light shielding member regulating a finder visual field range corresponding to the 2nd photographing range by respectively shielding the one-part sides of a finder visual field in the upper and the lower directions from light in the case of the 1st photographing range by interlocking with the aperture light shielding member, a photometry member which obtains luminance information by receiving the light transmitted through the finder visual field, which is divided into at least a 1st and a 2nd photometry areas set at a position where they are respectively shielded from light by the finder visual field light shielding member and a 3rd photometry area set at a position where it is not shielded from light and which can independently obtain the luminance information in the respective areas and judging means (#104, #105, #110 and #111) judging which photographing out of the normal photographing and the trimming photographing is selected based on the luminance information obtained in the respective divided photometry areas of the photometry means.
