PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the flange part of a heat insulating sleeve from being ruptured in a fixing roller for an energy saving type electrophotographic device where heating and cooling are performed frequently. SOLUTION: The heat insulating sleeve 1 made of resin and provided with the flange at one end of a cylinder part is made to intervene between the small- diameter shaft part of the end of the fixing roller and the internal wheel of a rolling bearing, whereby the fixing roller is rotatably supported in this bearing device for the fixing roller. In such a case, the sleeve 1 has a means which can not relatively move in an axial direction to the rolling bearing on a fit surface with the internal wheel of the rolling bearing.
