PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator controller of a disk drive which can improve phase margin. SOLUTION: This controller is equipped with a 1st disturbance observer arithmetic part 13, which generates a 1st disturbance observer signal according to an error signal showing an error of an actuator from its target value, a 2nd disturbance observer arithmetic part 14, which generates a 2nd disturbance observer signal according to a driving signal generated by a controller 12 and the 1st disturbance observer signal generated by the 1st disturbance observer arithmetic part 13, and a phase advancing circuit 15 which inputs the 2nd disturbance observer signal generated by the 2nd disturbance observer arithmetic part 14 and lifts the phase of a specific frequency to generate a signal for driving the actuator.
