PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the loss of a resource managing function caused by the down (ordinary stop or fault stop) of a server and to distribute the load of resource management to plural servers. SOLUTION: In this system, plural servers (11 and so on) share plural resources through a network. Each of plural resources is managed by one corresponding server of the servers. Each of the servers is provided with a down detecting part 1 for detecting the down of a specified server, a resource management succeeding part 4 for succeeding the management of a resource managed by the specified down server and a load distributing part 7 for distributing the load of the management of the resource.
