An equipment for wrapping stacks of items, eg. printed matter, envelopes etc. has each stack (3) placed onto a flat form blank (20) on a work surface (51). Four folding modules under the work surface are fitted with hinge plates which swing up and fold the sides and ends of the pack onto the stack and fold the tags into position. The tags are coated by adjustable adhesive sprays. The spacing of the four modules is adjustable to the required size of the pack and the modules are on a mounting which can pivot about a central vertical axis to align with the packs. An upper folding mechanism (10) prepares the lid to complete the pack.
