METHOD FOR REPRESENTING COLOR, GRADATION AS DETAIL- ORIENTED HIERACHICAL DISTANCE FIELD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restructure color gradations of a device by storing a memory with sizes, positions, one group of values, and restructuring methods and applying a restructuring method of a cell to the values. SOLUTION: This is a method for representing color gradations of a device as a detail-oriented hierachical distance field. A distance field representing the color gradations of the device is encircled with a character frame 100 and the encircled distance field is divided into cells. Each cell has the size corresponding to the detail of a continuous distance field and a position about the character frame 100. One group of values of the encircled distance field is sampled by the cells. A method for restructuring the part of the distance field encircled with the cells is specified.
