A microwave oven liner (1), preferably comprising a plurality of liner pleats (102), is expandable in from initial dimensions of approximately 6 inches in height (11) by 11 inches in width (12), to final dimensions as large as approximately 15 inches in height (11) by 21 inches in width (12), by 1/8 inch increments. This microwave oven liner (1), by virtue of its resizability (scalability), can be used to protect a wide range of sizes of microwave oven (5) from spills and spatters associated with the microwave cooking and heating process.
