PURPOSE: A line layout of a TFT(Thin Film Transistor) LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to prevent a negative influence on pixel display even if one of TFTs is defective or a portion of a line pattern is disconnected by forming a trapezoid touting layout. CONSTITUTION: A gate line(GL), a primary line through which a signal output from a driver is branched from a pattern starting portion. The left and right patterns of the gate line are patterned parallel. A horizontal pattern connecting the left pattern and the right pattern is formed when passing a pixel electrode. Thus, a grating pattern having two horizontal sides(GL2,GL4) and vertical sides(GL1,GL3) is formed. Even if one of four sides is disconnected, a signal current flows to each side. Thereby, an electric field to transfer liquid crystal is induced.
