PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sprinkler head provided with an action sensing means that has a simple structure and possible to certainly detect its action at the fire and together that has no fear of erroneous discharge even when it was damaged by external force or others. SOLUTION: In the sprinkler head 35 equipped with a protection cover 1 that covers the outer circumference and partially falls at the time of fire, the protection cover 1 is composed of a mounting member 2 to fix it to the sprinkler head 35, a protector 15 that is detachably joined to the lower end of the mounting member 2 to protect lower side of the head 35, a cover member 10 disposed at the outside of the protector 15 and others, and motion detecting means 20 that detect motion of the sprinkler head 35 is provided at the connecting part of the mounting member 2 and protector 15.
