PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering angle detector which can more finely grasp changing of a steering angle without applying a change in the point of structure to the conventional steering angle detector. SOLUTION: In the point of time changing of a steering angleθh is detected, an estimated steering angular speedθhhv is set on the basis of timeΔT required for changing, detected angle pitchΘ, etc., next during the time till detecting the steering angleθh, it is assumed to change at the estimated steering angular speedθhhv, the steering angleθh in the point of arbitrary time is set as an estimated steering angleθhh.
