PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket device for water supply allowing easy attachment to a pipe. SOLUTION: This socket device 3 comprises a fixed socket 4 and a main body socket 5. The fixed socket 4 comprises threaded part 4a to be fixed to the pipe, a first water channel part 4c extending in the direction of a first axis J1 forming an axis of the threaded part 4a, and a first engaging part 4j. The main body socket 5 is assembled into the fixed socket 4 rotatably around a second axis J2 approximately in the same direction as the first axis J1. The main body socket 5 comprises a second water channel part 5b having one side communicating with the first channel part 4c and the other side extending in the direction apart from the first axis J1, and a second engaging part. Because the first engaging part 4j is projected to a part of a rotating space of the second engaging part according to the rotation of the main body socket 5 relative to the fixed socket 4, a play space around the second axis J2 is provided between the first engaging part 4j and the second engaging part.
