PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bag-shaped container of storage properties and self- support stabilizing properties even when being manufactured by using a thin material and also provide a manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: Two side wall sections 3, 3 folded into two and formed long vertically are clamped with their folding lines 8, 8 facing each other between plane sections and four side edges of the plane sections and side wall sections 3 are bonded respectively 5, 5 to form a hexahedron, and a bottom forming sheet 4 formed of one sheet with its lower end edge formed into the hexahedron shape and its front face folded into the crest shapes 9 and 10 is inserted into the inner side of one opening of the hexahedron formed of the plane sections and side wall sections and the lower end edge of the sheet is bonded, and a bonding section 6 extending in the container axial direction is formed on a bottom section.
