PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive vehicle door opening/closing device to control a motor to implement the closing operation of a door from a fully- opened position to an intermediate position at a low speed, and to implement the closing operation from the intermediate position to a fully-closed position at a high speed. SOLUTION: This vehicle door opening/closing device comprises a motor 6 provided with brushes 6a-6c for common drive, low-speed drive and high-speed drive, switching relays 19-21 to supply the drive transmission to the motor 6 via the brushes 6a, 6b for common drive and low-speed drive, or the brushes 6a, 6c for common drive and high-speed drive, and a detection switch 18 to detect whether or not a door is at the intermediate position. A controller 10 supplies the drive power to the motor 6 via the brushes 6a, 6b for common drive and low-speed drive when the door closing operation is started by the switching relays 19-21, and when the door reaches the intermediate position, the rotation of the motor 6 is stopped, and then, the power is supplied to the motor 6 via the brushes 6a, 6c for common drive and high-speed drive. |
