PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and lightweight conveyer which can easily mount a conveying carriage on and demount it from a rail and can safely convey a load. SOLUTION: This conveyer 10 is constituted by a cylindrical rail 12 and a conveying carriage 14. The conveying carriage 14 has a pair of clamp members 20, 20 clamping the rail 12 and eyebolts 18, 18 for suspending a load and has a link mechanism converting weight of the load suspended by the eyebolt 18 into force clamping the rail 12 by a pair of the clamp members 20, 20.
