PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid of rod butt of fishing rod, capable of quickly and readily housing a narrow and flexible top rod, second joint rod and third joint rod when a fishing rod is housed, simply assembling a ring bound to the lid in order to prevent loss of fishing rod and making bond to the lid firm. SOLUTION: A pushing rod 128 is constituted to be protruded in the center of the inside of a lid and constituted so as to pass through the centers of cushion members 130 and 140 and slightly protrude to the upper position than the cushion members. Thereby, the bottom of the fishing rod into which the top rod is fitted is brought into contact with the pushing rod 128 when the fishing rod is housed therein and an elastic divided pin 150 in which an engaging part is formed is coupled to a ring 160 for preventing loss of the fishing rod and the divided pin 150 is elastically fitted into the hole of the lid.
