PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect sheaths and operation wires to the same operation part even if their sizes vary and to impart versatility to the operation part by varying the width of a small-width part of an engaging groove by positions and making it possible to engage plural kinds of connecting rods varying in the sizes of their small-diameter parts to an engaging groove. SOLUTION: A base end mouthpiece mounted at the base end of a flexible sheath is inserted into the square hole a the front end of an operation part body 11 and a connecting and fixing cylinder is mounted at the same. The connecting rod fixed to the base end of the operation wire inserted into the flexible sheath 1 is passed to the central position of a slot 18 formed in the longitudinal direction of the operation part body 11. The stopping part at the base end of the connecting rod is inserted into a blind hole in a central position of an insulating block. The small-width part 24b which is connected to the broad-width part 24a of the width allowing the passage of the stopping part of the connecting rod and has the width to allow the passage of the small- diameter part 7b not allowing the passage of the stopping part and adjacent thereto is formed in the engaging groove 24.
