PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gusset bag which is strong and has a large opening while being easily openable by a method wherein upper end heat-sealed parts are formed by sticking the upper ends of tucked gusset parts respectively to either one of the surface or the reverse side films constituting a bag body, and perforations are provided respectively to point sealed parts which are formed by applying point sealing to the lower part of the tucked gusset parts. SOLUTION: The upper ends of tucked gusset parts 3 and 4 are brought close to the inner side of either one of the surface or the reverse side films 1 and 2, for instance to the inner side of the film 2, constituting the trunk part of a gusset bag, and the tucked gusset parts 3 and 4 are heat-sealed to the inner side of the film while being unsealed to the another film 1 of the trunk part, and thereby the upper end sealed parts 5 are formed. Point sealed parts 7, each in a length shorter than a half of the width of the tucked gusset part, are provided at positions below the upper end sealed parts 5, and incisions respectively formed of performations 8 for opening the gusset bag are additionally provided at the point sealed parts 7. Thereby, an opening can be formed, extending entirely over the whole width of the gusset bag films, increasing the stability in a shape for the bag, and the bag can be opened easily by hand.
