PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding tool and its manufacturing method excellent in the pad grinding efficiency and also in the durability, capable of attaching a grinding material such as diamond grains easily to the surface of the grinding tool in the specified pattern as desirable and preventing the fast attached grains of the grinding material from slipping off. SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for a grinding tool whereto abrasive grains are attached fast uses a mesh of non-conductive substance having a plurality of holes, whereby grains are arranged on at least one side face of the grinding tool through the mesh so that the specified pattern is generated, and the grains are subjected to a primary plating so that fast attachment is established, followed by removal of the mesh from the grinding tool, and then the grains are attached still stronger by subjecting them to a secondary plating. |
