PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold sealing adhesive which improves at least one problem concerning the water resistance and the transferability of aqueous color dyes for color ink-jet printers. SOLUTION: A cold sealing adhesive for color ink-jet recording comprises an adhesive component comprising at least one chosen from a natural rubber latex, a modified natural rubber latex and a synthetic rubber latex and an amphoteric polymer which is a copolymer prepared from a monomer mixture comprising 2 to 30 wt.% polymerizable anionic monomer and 50 to 98 wt.% dimethylaminoethylbenzyl chloride (mth)acrylate. The cold sealing adhesive improves at least one problem concerning the water resistance and the non- transferability of aqueous color dyes for ink-jet printers and shows an excellent offset printability and a high dispersion stability. |
