PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prefabricated felloe guard unit by bolting, which can be easily assembled in the field or can be entirely assembled beforehand, thereby enabling construction in a short period, and to facilitate expansion of a road width by dispensing with reinforcement of a girder because the felloe guard unit is formed of a steel hollow cylinder body and therefore weight is extremely reduced. SOLUTION: There is provided a felloe guard unit for expanding a road width of a highway road, which is formed of a hollow cylinder body 11 and a web plate 6. The hollow cylinder body 11 consists of a curb portion 1 having a front surface 1a, an upper surface 1b, and a rear surface 1c, and a bottom plate portion 2 having an extending portion 2a outwardly extending from the front surface 1a of the curb portion 1, and a bottom surface 2b. The web plate 6 is attached onto a lower surface of the bottom plate portion 2. After removing a felloe guard of a concrete side edge, the above constructed felloe guard unit is attached to a floor slab by using the extending portion of the bottom plate portion and the web plate by means of bolts 4. Thus, the width of the road is expanded.
