PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vessel for preventing the contamination of molten metal and a sucking/exhausting method. SOLUTION: To the cylindrical closed vessel 1 provided with a pipe 3 fitting an opening/closing tool 4 at the upper part, a concave sucking/exhausting tube 2 so as to be freely attached/detached, is connected at the lower part. As the other way, the opening part surface of the sucking/exhausting tube 2 is arranged into a receiving dish having the outer peripheral surface higher than this opening part surface. Further, at the front part of the opening/closing tool 4, a pressure device 5 is arranged. Furthermore, one or more of filters are fitted to the sucking/exhausting tube 2.
