PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image printing method and an image printer in which a user can handle continuous form printed with images easily. SOLUTION: When print operation is started, a decision is made whether a predetermined number of photographic images have been printed or not (S13), and when predetermined number of photographic images have been printed they are fed from the sheet outlet to an exposing position (S14). Subsequently, print operation is interrupted temporarily and operation is waited (S15). A user can obtain a predetermined number of photographs by cutting a roll sheet, on which the predetermined number of photographic images are printed, along a register mark. When the user depresses a sheet feed button (S16) after the roll sheet is cut, heading is performed (S17) to feed back the roll sheet until next print start position reaches the predetermined position of an ink jet head and then print operation (S18) is restarted to print next predetermined number of photographic images on the roll sheet. According to the method, the user can handle a roll sheet printed with photographic images easily.
