PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking device which can be suitably used in either foods such as roast meat foods in which it is desirable to remove unnecessary substances such as excessive moisture generated in cooking or those which are difficult to cook by using a cooking surface with holes. SOLUTION: In a cooking plate 2 of a cooking device 1, an exhaust hole 6 is placed which can exhaust unnecessary substances such as excessive moisture generated in cooking. Then, on the downward side of the exhaust hole 6, a holder 9 for receiving the unnecessary substances falling from the exhaust hole 6 is arranged. In addition, a lid material 7 for blocking up the exhaust hole 6 is removably attached to the exhaust hole 6. Then, when foods from which it is preferable to remove the unnecessary substances is cooked, the lid material 7 is removed from the exhaust hole 6. In the case when foods in which it is undesirable to cook by using a cooking surface T with holes of a cooking plate 2 are to be cooked, the lid material 7 is attached to the exhaust hole 6 to block up the exhaust hole 6.
