<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electrophotographic carrier which makes it possible to stably obtain high image quality by specifying the specific equation of a speed constant of a change in the electrostatic charge quantity in the second half part where the rising characteristic curve of the triboelectrostatic charge quantities of a magnetic carrier and a toner saturates and starts descending, predicting the electrostatic charge quantity of plant scale's stirring and mixing by laboratory scale's stirring and mixing, thereby eliminating the performance difference of the carrier. SOLUTION: This electrophotographic carrier is used for a two-component developer expressed by -5.60ln(t)+19.78<=Qn<=-2.97ln(t)+21.97 in the relation of the change in the electrostatic charge quantity in the second half part where the rising characteristic curve of the triboelectrostatic charge quantities of the magnetic carrier and the toner saturates and descending starts. In this equation, Qn=Aln(t)+B, Qn: the electrostatic charge quantity (μC/g) of the second half of the rising, t: mixing time, A: an inclination coefficient (a change rate from the descending start of the electrostatic charge quantity), B: a piece (the electrostatic charge quantity at the descending start point of the electrostatic charge quantity).</p> |
