DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DOCUMENT PREPARATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability in document preparation by performing key input and voice input in arbitrary timing respectively and effectively using them. SOLUTION: Reading characters inputted by operating an input device 14 (keyboard) are converted by a conversion part 40 to input the character string and a voice inputted from a voice input device 20 is recognized by a voice recognition part 36 to input the character string; while input discrimination information showing which of a voice and a character string is inputted is added, the character string is stored in an input buffer 44 in time series. The character string stored in the input buffer 44 is displayed at a display device 16 by a display part 50.
