<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To catch a covered cable, without crushing it even though slip-stop is certain. SOLUTION: This chuck has catching faces 10s and 20s and relatively draws a covered cable L caught with these catching faces 10s and 20s, and this is so made s to constitute longitudinal split form at the inside periphery of a cylinder, making the catching faces 10s and 20s correspond to the roughly outside peripheral form of the covered cable L. Specifically, this chuck consists of a pair of blocks 10 and 20, and for their opposed faces 11 and 21, one hand is shaped like a substantially V-shaped trough, which guides the covered cable L to the bottom of the trough constituted of the holding face 20s, and the other hand is shaped like a crest corresponding to the trough, and the catching face 10s is made at the ridge section of the top, so that the catching face at the ridge section has a guide part for guiding the covered cable.</p> |
