PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve working efficiency when printing is executed by image composition by synthesizing input image data and stored image data in accor dance with stored processing data. SOLUTION: An original image memory 22 is composed of a frame memory and the digital data formed by subjecting, for example, the negative film 1 frame images read by a scanner 6 to analog-to-digital conversion is stored therein. A first memory 23 is composed of a frame memory and first image data stored in the original image memory 22 and second image data inputted from an image input section 24 so as to be image-composited with the first image data are stored therein. A second memory 25 stores the processing data when the first image data and the second image data are added (image synthesized). The processing data can be set when, for example, an operator, inputs the data with keys by a keyboard from a processing data input section 26. The processing data sets the synthesis ratio of the first image data and the second image data for every pixel. |
