PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric filter having provision for a balanced input or balanced output with an excellent voltage utilizing efficiency and excellent noise immunity. SOLUTION: This balanced input/output piezoelectric filter has a piezoelectric ceramic substrate 22 in the inside of which an earth electrode 21 is formed. Input electrodes 11, 12 and output electrodes 13, 14 are closely formed to both major sides of the piezoelectric substrate 23. The input electrodes 11, 12 act like balancing circuit connection electrode and are connected respectively to balanced input terminals 11a, 12a. Furthermore, the output electrodes 13, 14 act like balanced circuit connection electrodes and are connected respectively to balanced output terminals 13a, 14a.
