PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a piezoelectric transformer which can be designed accurately and the characteristics of which can be measured accurately. SOLUTION: Low voltage-side input electrodes 2a and 2b and a high voltage- side electrode 2c are formed on the surface of a piezoelectric plate 2, which is divided into a driving section 3 polarized along the thickness axis in the longitudinal direction and a power generating section 4 polarized along the longitudinal axis. A distribution factor circuit is used, which is formed by individually constituting the driving section 3 and power generating section 4 in distribution factor circuits as a transverse effect converter and a longitudinal effect converter and joining the distribution factor circuits to each other.
