PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat-type cable that is simplified in structure and has highly reliable shielding capability. SOLUTION: This flat-type shielded cable includes signal wires 1, that are mutually insulated and separated and integrally arranged on a main surface of a first flat-type insulator layer 2, a second flat-type insulator layer 3 that is integrated with the first flat-type insulator layer 2 and covers and embeds the signal wires 1, and shield layers 4, 5 laminated so as to respectively cover the other main surfaces of both flat-type insulator layers 2, 3. The shielding layers 4, 5 are interconnected electrically via extending and folding portions 4a, 5a of at least parts of the mutually facing end edges of them.
