<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate decoding or forgetting of a code in case of authenticating a user by a code and to permit only sure authenticated users to use radio equipment, means only in the case the user's fingerprint matches with a fingerprint which was previously registered in a memory. SOLUTION: The fingerprint of the authenticated user of radio equipment 1 is detected by a detection device 5, made into data by a microcomputer 2 and recorded in the memory 3. When radio equipment 1 is used, the fingerprint of the user is detected by the detecting device 5 or the microcomputer 2, converted into data and compared and collated with data which was previously recorded in the memory 3 by the microcomputer 2. A control signal is transmitted to a transmitter/receiver 4 by the microcomputer 2 only in the case of matching with data, so that the transmitter/receiver 4 can be operated. Thus, even when the radio equipment is stolen, it will not be used illegally so that data or the like is protected, the user does not need to memorize the code and it can be used surely without complicated operations.</p> |
