<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously reproduce voice data by selecting a read speed of the voice data from a received buffer in response to a result of monitor by a buffer capacity monitor section that monitors a data quantity stored in the reception buffer. SOLUTION: A delay fluctuation measurement section 7 measures a packet reception interval time TR of voice packets received from a communication network 11. In the case of an asynchronous communication network, dispersion is caused in the reception interval due to this delay fluctuation, a delay fluctuation time TS expressed as TS=TR-TT, where TT is a packet transmission interval time, the measured TS is sent to a buffer control section 8, which decides a storage amount of voice data so as to be stably reproduced. The buffer control section 8 make a request to a D/A converter section 5 for revision of D/A conversion speed, adjusts a voice data flow from a reception buffer 3 to control the storage amount of the reception buffer 3 to reach a decided storage amount. The reception buffer 3 stores the amount of voice data in response to the delay fluctuation time TS of a communication network 11.</p> |
