PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the blowing-out amount a cold wind from the indoor machine of an air conditioner immediately before the air conditioner enters defrosting operation which is performed when the air conditioner is operated for heating, by constituting a cycle which is reverse to that of heating operation when the air conditioner is operated for heating. SOLUTION: When an air conditioner is normally operated for heating, the blowing-out amount of cold wind from the indoor machine of the conditioner is suppressed by adjusting the air volume of the indoor fan of the indoor machine in accordance with the drop in capability of a compressor by also reducing the number of revolutions of the indoor fan during the period in which the number of revolutions of the compressor is reduced after a command instructing defrosting operation is sent out. |
