PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an autoanalyzer which does not generate the waste of a cleaning solution and in which an unreacted substance in a reaction container is cleaned so as to be separated effectively according to a measuring item. SOLUTION: Dispensing means 3, 4 which dispense a sample and/or a reagent are provided. A cleaning and separating means 6 by which an unreacted substance in a reaction container is cleaned so as to be separated in the halfway part of an analysis is provided. A cleaning-condition setting means 13 by which the cleaning condition of the cleaning and separating means 6 is set in connection with a measuring item is provided. A control means 11 by which the operation of the cleaning and separating means 6 is controlled on the basis of the cleaning condition by the cleaning-condition setting means 13 is provided.
