PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance diagnostic power while ensuring a high image quality by coupling collimator blocks and supporting the coupled collimator blocks in the container of an X-ray detector while bonding thereto through resin adhesive. SOLUTION: A collimator plate 5 is supported by collimator supports 13, 13' provided in a collimator block 6 wherein the collimator support 13 for supporting the underside of the collimator plate is secured to a detector container 14 through a block support 7 and the collimator support 13' for supporting the upper side of the collimator plate is secured to the container 14 through resin adhesive 16. In each collimator block 6, the collimator support 13 is secured onto the block support 7 by means of screws and the supports 13' on the opposite side are coupled each other through a coupling plate 15. The gap between the upper collimator support 13' and the inner surface of the container 14 is filled with resin 16 which is eventually cured. Since the supports on the opposite sides of the collimator block are secured to the container 14, mechanical rigidity of a mechanism for supporting the collimator can be enhanced.
