PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain smooth driving changeover even in the case that temporary power interruption or the like is caused by providing a controlling means to drive a driving source in a reverse direction after driving it in the specified direction at the time of switching a transmission mechanism. SOLUTION: A controlling part 1 to rule the control of an entire camera, a motor 2, a motor driving part 4, a motor rotational amount detecting part 3, and a storing part 12 to previously store a state or the like of a camera are provided. Also, a stopper driving part 6 to drive a stopper 5, a stopper position detecting part 7 and a carrier initial position detecting part 11 to detect whether a carrier 8 is at an initial position or not are provided. Driving force of the motor 2 is transmitted to the carrier 8 and an oblique tooth gear 9 through a shaft gear 10. The controlling means to drive the motor 2 which is a driving source in the reverse direction after driving it in the specified direction at the time of switching the transmission mechanism is provided in a constitution thereof. Thus, even though reliability of gear position information is lowered due to the temporary power interruption or the like during driving, the reliability of loose driving is secured.
