PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cash box effectively sterilizing housed coins. SOLUTION: In the cash box, in the state of housing a drawer 4 in a cabinet 3, ultraviolet rays having a sterilizing effect from ultraviolet lamps 11a, 11b positioned over a money case 5 are irradiated directly to coins B, C housed in the case 5, and the coins B, C housed in the case 5 are brought into contact with ozone having a sterilizing effect and filling the inside of the cabinet generated from an ozonizer 10. Thus, the coins to which ultraviolet rays were directly radiated by the lamps 11a, 11b are sterilized by the ultraviolet rays and the coins B, C to which the ultraviolet rays were not irradiated directly by the lamps because of piling, e.g. are sterilized by ozone entered from a gap while filling the inside of the cabinet 3. Thus, the coins B, C housed in the box 1 can effectively be sterilized. |
