PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent image formed paper from being soiled with toner by providing a pair of ground plates on the outside of both ends of a transfer roller. SOLUTION: Metallic ground plates 710, for attracting the toner suspended in space at both ends of a photoreceptor drum 35 which does not come in contact with the transfer roller 34, are provided at prescribed positions at both ends of the roller 34. Then, since a discharging lamp 61 causes directly irradiation of the drum 35 with discharging light is arranged and fixed on the downstream side in the paper-carrying direction of the drum 35. The plates 710 forms a pair are rectangular plates and are provided with their toner attracting surface upward on a farther downstream side than the roller 34 and on the outer sides than both ends 34a and 34b of the roller 34. Thus, the toner suspended in the space on both end sides of the drum 35, which does not come in contact with the roller 34, is prevented from flowing to the downstream side and being attracted to the paper after transfer, and is attracted to the plates 710. |
