PURPOSE: A direction converting valve is provided to save space while reducing the number of components by integrating an anti-drop valve to the direction converting valve. CONSTITUTION: Oil from a pump(P) is inputted to a direction converting valve unit(3) through a check valve(15). If a pilot pressure is applied through a port(a), oil is inputted into a small chamber of a cylinder(5) through a left line. If not so, oil is inputted into a logic valve() through a right line and the logic valve is opened for inputting the oil to the small chamber. An upper Part of the logic valve is connected with a control valve(7). If the pilot pressure is applied to the control valve, the control valve is moved for closing the logic valve. Herein, an anti-drop valve unit composed of the logic/control valves is integrated with the direction converting valve unit.
