The current monitoring method has the voltages across the switches in the top positions within a full or half bridge circuit converted into corresponding currents, before re-conversion back into voltages at the bottom reference voltage potential plane (GND) and analogue disjunction of these voltages with the voltages across the bottom position switches. The analogue disjunction product provides a voltage corresponding to the voltage of the transistor switch with the highest voltage within the full or half bridge circuit. |
