PURPOSE: A multi-drop optical transmitting device is provided to connect many optical remotes with one base station through one optical cable to perform a communication service, so as to greatly reduce installing charges and operating charges of the base station and to supply a high quality of communication service in a shadow area or a boundary between base stations. CONSTITUTION: A base station(10) called as a cell site converts a high frequency signal received by being delivered from a mother base station into an optical signal, and transmits the optical signal through an optical cable(20), then converts an optical signal inputted through the optical cable(20) into a high frequency signal. The base station(10) delivers the converted high frequency signal to the mother base station. First to third optical remotes(30,40,50) are connected with the one optical cable(20), respectively. The optical remotes(30,40,50) receive the optical signal transmitted from the base station(10) to convert the optical signal into the high frequency signal, and deliver the high frequency signal to a communication subscriber. The optical remotes(30,40,50) convert the delivered high frequency signal into the optical signal, and transmit the converted optical signal to the base station(10) through the optical cable(20). |
