PURPOSE: A soil covering material used for reclaimed land obtained by mixing casting sand generated in a steel works or a foundry, lime generated in a fertilizer plant, zeolite and waste stone powder with general earth and sand is provided, which has the advantages of reducing a bad smell, controlling the pH value, resolving landfill leachate problems, suppressing the appearance of harmful insects, contributes to the reutilization and recovery of resources and improving soil. CONSTITUTION: The soil covering material comprises 40 to 60% by weight of general earth and sand, 20 to 40% by weight of lime, 5 to 15% by weight of casting sand, 6 to 15% by weight of zeolite, 1 to 10% by weight of stone powder and optionally contains 1 to 5% sodium methasilicate or ortho silicate aqueous solution. The zeolite as natural powder is 10 to 80 mesh. |
